Our Provisional Remedies and Replevin department handles matters for local, regional and national clients in the states of New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Our attorneys possess extensive experience in State court practice and procedure. Through our knowledge of the law and our understanding of various court procedures, we are able to effectively:

  • Represent lenders in replevin, conversion and other legal proceedings for recovery of collateral and enforcement of security interests under the Uniform Commercial Code and related statutes
  • Seek preliminary, interim and pre-judgment remedies for recovery of collateral on behalf of lenders and lien holders
  • Obtain pre-judgment attachments, temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions preventing transfer or dissipation of assets pending final judgment
  • Defend lenders in special proceedings to settle and/or foreclose on garagemen’s and other types of lien interests
  • Represent lien holders in private disputes and government forfeiture proceedings
  • Provide legal opinions to clients regarding internal controls for recovery of collateral
